Beach 67 is North of the Kona Airport and located on the dry side of the island. This makes for not only tropical warm weather that the islands are known for, but mostly blue skies.

Within 5 min of being there, someone came up to us and warned us that the clothed people on the next beach over (Beach 69) often call the police when they see naked folks on this one. We also saw this sign as we parked the car.

Even though this is the case, because when you are in the trees, the other beach can't see you and some people there were naked. 

Trail/Access: 9

It has two entrances. Both are a one minute hike down to the beach from where you can park your car. Super easy! You can drive right up to the side of the cliff from this main road above. To find the beach: look at the electric poles and follow the numbers till you reach 67. That's how it got it's name.

Privacy: 2

Because the "beach" is so small, it really has no privacy unless there is nobody there. Also, the bigger sandy beach (Beach 69) next door can see you if you venture out of the trees. They tend not to like nude folks, so beware of that.

If someone decides to play music (which someone did), then everyone is hearing music. How irritating. 

Nude Etiquette: 4

​We had some issues on this beach. I was hit-on by a local "meth" addict looking guy who woke me from a nap to talk so he could check me out. Yuck. And everytime my partner and I would go for a walk to see the surrounding land and cliffs, this other guy would conveniently follow. He did this to others folks as well. We actually left because of the creepy factor.

"Creeps or Pervs" are the guys that stare or position themselves to to another person to get a good view. They also may touch themselves inappropriately. They can give a vibe even if they are doing nothing observably pervy. ​

Sand: 3

No sand till you get pretty close to the water. And that is full of sharp lava. Wear sand socks or booties if going in the water.

Always beautiful in Hawaii. Year round. 75-80+

It's mostly trees. Do bring a chair or hammock. The "beach" is not fun to walk or sit on.

Watch out for rocks when getting in.

This beach is below a house on a dirt road. There was nothing as far as amenities, not even a trash can.

Snorkling: 7

It could possibly be ok, but it wasn't super clear this day. There are Turtles swimming around, and that's a good sign. 

Wildlife Saftey: 8

Turtles swim right off the beach here. You can see them from the sand. 

Just always be aware of sharks and the lava is sharp. 

Sunset Location: 8

We didn't stay for sunset. I was so disappointed by this beach and the creepy factor that day, that I wanted to return to the rental which was a good 2 hours away. This island is so big, and so few beaches.... We were happy to leave for home a few days later.
